I was a “dairy guy” once who always consumed dairy products. But I noticed my acne were growing and won’t stop no matter how hard I try. So I decided to leave dairy products, and guess what, within a month I had great results. My acnes were going away. Doctors recommend to stop using dairy product for getting rid of acne.

2. Get plenty of sleep


This shouldn’t be a surprise for you guys. Lack of sleep can cause several problems, one which includes acnes. You cannot survive without sleep and your body can’t really function well if you don’t get a good rest. Lack of sleep can increase stress, affect your hormones, metabolism and acne if you don’t get proper sleep. That is why doctors recommend you to get 8 hours of sleep for a healthy mind and a healthy body.

3. Wash your face


You must take care of your face. Start off your day with washing your face with warm luke water to open up your pores and use cleanser to clean the dirt off your face. Finish the process by using cold water to close the pores. Similarly, do the same process at night before going to bed. Also, take steam twice a week for a healthy looking glowing skin. However don’t wash your face too much. Washing too much can make your face dry which is a bad thing.

A healthy mind and a healthy body can be obtained by joining a gym. Exercising has unlimited amount of benefits. It keeps your body in shape and healthy. It also helps to get rid of acnes by cleaning out the pores you sweat from your body. Not only that, but it also helps you to increase metabolism and reduce stress. Alcohol affects your acne. If you consume alcohol and have acne all over your skin then you might want to limit/avoid alcohol. There’s a connection of alcohol and acne. Take it from an experienced guy writing this to you, Alcohol really affects acne because I have experienced it firsthand. I noticed that drinking affected my acne so I stopped drinking. You know what, after stopping myself from drinking alcohol there was a huge improvement in my skin.   

6. Limit Sugar Intake


I read it in an article that sugar increased acne. Sugar and dairy have negative effects on health and increases acne. Sugar not only makes acne worse, but triggers it as well. If you are really fond of sugar then I suggest you to limit your sugar consumption. If you crave for sugar then eat fruits. It has many great effects on your body.

7. Avoid Caffeine


Caffeine is dangerous for your skin. It increases your acne and also flushes water out of the body before it does its work. I strictly suggest you to avoid caffeine at all cost if you are victim to acne.
